14.2 is in the books. Thanks for Crossfit Lynchburg for hosting.
Today I participated in my first Crossfit Open WOD. Complete as many rounds in 10 minutes of 30 double unders and 15 ground to overhead (55# women, 75# men). It was insanely hard. I kept tripping over my double unders and honestly it made me furious….but I’ve never enjoyed being so mad. The experience was [...]
So, I’ve been a slacker. I missed my camera. Life, work, projects – you know how it goes. I was given an unplanned snow day off from work. I got a chance to play with my little boy and snap a few precious fun photos.
What a precious little girl born into a wonderful loving family. I got to meet this bundle of joy when she was less than two days old. More to come after mom and dad get to see the whole set!

We also made our annual trip over to Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm for a Virginia white pine. It was nice to [...]
Not too long ago work sent me to the greater Seattle area for two weeks. Early one Saturday morning before the crazy crowds and in between the raindrops I was able walk the market, have a coffee from the 1st Starbucks and eat in the Space Needle. Other than being in the cold blowing wind [...]
Today is family hang out day. No projects or maintenance work allowed. The days are whizzing by us and we decided to take a little Saturday staycation. Between naps today we hit the playground of a local church and had a lovely lunch at an outdoor Italian cafe. Today is also the day William had his first haircut. I [...]
This past Friday was the 4th annual Get Downtown held in Lynchburg, VA. It is a full on street fair with food, street performers, music, educational displays and local vendors. This event is a part of the downtown revitalization efforts by Lynch’s Landing. The good people over at The Clutch Guide were on site and handed out 1000 [...]
